This page will help you and your child/children get ready for the 2021-2022 school year beginning on September 13.

Welcome 👋

Hello Families!!!!

I hope you all are having a great summer! As we prepare to open our doors for the 2021-22 school year, I wanted to let you know how thrilled and excited I am to have all of our students and staff returning back to school.

The first day of school for students is Monday, September 13th.  The school day for students is from 8:00 am to 2:20 pm.  We will be updating our website regularly, so please go onto our website for school information and updates.  Our website is www.ps28q.com and it is available in English, Spanish and Chinese.

I want to directly invite parents to join me on Thursday, September 9th at 1230 pm  for, “Coffee and Conversation with me", via Zoom to discuss new policies and procedures as well as to answer any questions that you may have.  The Zoom link may be found on our Class Dojo page.  If you are unable to find the link please reach out to our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Miriam Roman to get it.   Our goal this year is to provide your children with a school that they feel safe and supported in where learning is engaging and meaningful.

We have many new activities planned this year for your children. Please know that at PS 28, we are a family and together there is nothing we can’t accomplish.  Again, I would like to welcome back our returning families and offer a big WELCOME to our new families.  I look forward to seeing everyone on September 13th!!!!!
